Making your membership card work
Gyms, clubs, co-ops and loyalty schemes give members a card to show at the door. It needs to look official, carry the brand and leave room for the details staff check, all on a card small enough for a wallet.
What to write on it
- The club or business name and the word Member, clear at a glance.
- A line on what membership means, such as open 24/7 or ten percent off.
- A contact number or website for questions about renewals.
One tip
If staff write names or expiry dates by hand, ask the printer for a matte stock that takes ink, or leave the back plain for a sticker.
What you get
- Made at 3.5 × 2 in.
- A CMYK print PDF with bleed and crop marks, ready for any print shop.
- Business cards come in US 3.5 × 2 in and EU 85 × 55 mm.
- Two AI designs from your words, logo and colours; preview free, $3.99 for the one you keep.
- What goes on a membership card?
- Your brand, the word Member, what the membership gives, and contact details. Names and numbers are usually added per card.
- Can I add a barcode or member number?
- Each card is printed from one design, so individual numbers are best added afterwards by the printer or with stickers.
