Making your quote poster work
Gyms, studios, classrooms and offices hang quote posters to set a mood on a wall people look at every day. The words carry the poster, so the design has to frame them without competing.
What to write on it
- A short quote that fits on three lines or fewer; long passages turn into wallpaper.
- An attribution line if the words belong to someone, spelled the way they wrote their name.
- Your business name, small, if the poster hangs where customers see it.
One tip
Only use quotes you are free to use. Your own words, or a well-known saying, are safe; lyrics and recent book passages usually are not.
