Convert a PNG to a real SVG
Upload the PNG and we trace it into vector paths, then deliver them as an SVG, a PDF and an EPS, with a fresh PNG rendered at 300 DPI. A transparent background stays transparent. You check a free preview first and pay $3.99 once if it's right.

Not every SVG is a vector
Some converters put your PNG inside an SVG file and stop there. The file ends in .svg, but inside is the same grid of pixels, and it blurs just like the PNG when it's enlarged or sent to a cutter.
The SVG you get here is traced: every shape is a path with its own outline and fill. Open it in a design program and you can select the shapes, recolour them or cut them on a machine.
Transparency comes along
If your PNG already has a transparent background, the trace keeps it: areas that were clear stay clear in the SVG, the PDF and the EPS. If the logo sits on a solid colour instead, the Remove option under Background clears that colour from around the artwork, and the same colour inside the design stays.
Made for cutters and printers
An SVG built from clean, closed shapes is what cutting machines and vinyl and laser software work with. The same trace goes out as a vector PDF for print shops and an EPS for older design software, so one upload covers every place the logo will go.
Questions, answered
- Is the SVG editable?
- Yes. It's made of separate vector shapes, so you can select, recolour, resize or delete them in any program that opens SVG, such as Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity or Figma.
- Will it work in Cricut Design Space?
- Yes. Cricut Design Space imports SVG files, and a traced SVG is made of the closed shapes cutting software expects rather than a picture.
- What size will the SVG be?
- A vector has no fixed size in pixels, so it scales to any width without losing sharpness. The PNG in the set is different: it's rendered at 300 DPI for the print width you pick.
- Can I convert a PNG with lots of colours?
- Yes, up to 24 colours in one trace, or leave it on Auto. Photos and smooth gradients are the exception: a vector is flat colour, so they come back as bands or shapes, and the preview shows which you have.
- How much is a PNG to SVG conversion?
- $3.99 per design, paid once, for the SVG, PDF, EPS and PNG together. The preview is free, there's no subscription, and any sales tax is added at checkout.
- Do you keep my file?
- We keep the delivered files so your download link works for 12 months. We don't resell them or put them in a stock library.
